Add support for friendfeed
this idea of filtering and categorizing streams seems perfect for friendfeed too. actually I'm more interested to see such a tool for friendfeed, cause it's much more overloaded than twitter

Add group members by dragging
I wish I could actually drag group members from one column to the other to add them to that group.
Standard behaviour: add member to group.
Modified behaviour (cmd/ctl) move member to group.Very nice, liking this idea

Allow for any column (esp. the "All Tweets" column) to be resized via drag. I have an entirely empty column of space just waiting to be used.

Have the option to login the several accounts as once. The accounts could either be in a column, or you could switch between the two?

Don't delete groups when closing them
If you "close a Group column, it permanently deletes the group. This is bad. Instead, it should simply close the Group column. You should be able to recall a group from the Group menu. There should be a Settings option where groups can be deleted.

Support for Identi.ca and Laconica federated µBlogging
Identi.ca is a new µblogging tool just like Twitter.
It uses the Laconica project to achieve a federated µblogging network.
It would be great to have a version of tweetdeck for it, and I think it would be a smart move for this project. -

Integration with Ping.fm
I would love to see an option to post to twitter via Ping.fm ... I know tweetdeck would only read from twitter for content, but I like having my posts sent through Ping.fm so I don't have to go around updating all my accounts... yeah I know, I have OCD.

drag columns to reorder
I'd like to see the ability to drag column headers to reorder them, in addition to or replacing the move right / move left buttons.
Another possibility is changing those move buttons to left and right arrow icons and having them next to the column close button, for easy access.

Ability to control font/picture sizes.
Would like to be able to size down (or up) the fonts and user photos so I could reduce or increase the amount of space taken up by each tweet in each column.
Or maybe just have a font resizing and a "compact" version of the user badge.

Scroll Horizontally with the Mouse Wheel
This one is for Mac users especially. Scrolling down with 2 fingers. It's only natural that you should be able to scroll horizontally with 2 fingers!
A must have!

Tweet to defined 'Group'
i.e. If I just wanted to send a tweet to my Family, and not have everyone see...w/o sending it direct to each member. If they are defined in a "Group" then I could send the tweet to that group.

have 'real' full screen on Mac OSX
I'd love to see the possibility to do real fullscreen on Mac OSX, right now it is essentially maximizing and the menu bar and dock are still visible -- you could have it use the Flash Player full screen feature using:
Stage.displayState="fullScreen";

Multiple Audio Profiles For Each Type of Tweet.
Twhirl offers me the ability to never have to LOOK at my computer without knowing whether it's a reply, DM, or general tweet. I'd LOVE to have that same functionality here.
Heck, why not create multiple different audio profiles much like you would "skins" - Allow the user to select "birds" - "sonar" - "symphony" - whatever... Thoughts?

Add support for TwitHire
TwitHire is a free job listing service for Twitter. The idea is to publish Jobs listed on TwitHire and make it available to TweetDeck users. Integrating is a snap via json data feed from TwitHire.
